Maximilian Buckner
Prior to joining Arndt, Buswell & Thorn, S.C., Mr. Buckner was a judicial clerk for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois in 2012. In 2013, he interned at Wiedner & McAuliffe, Ltd., a workers’ compensation defense firm. In the summer of 2013, Max was a summer associate at Heyl, Royster, Voelker & Allen, doing primarily complex insurance defense litigation. During law school at the University of Madison, Max was an extern at the Wisconsin Department of Justice: Environmental Unit, where he assisted in prosecuting environmental violations throughout the State of Wisconsin. While there, Max played a substantial role in obtaining a $300,000.00 settlement against a company for pollution
discharge in the waterways of Wisconsin.
Mr. Buckner focuses his practice at Arndt, Buswell & Thorn, S.C. in civil litigation; personal injury; business law; municipal law; residential, commercial, and agricultural real estate; and workers’ compensation. Max has trial and appellate experience in complex construction litigation. He has represented various municipalities around the area on various legal matters.
Personal Information
Max lives in Reedsburg, Wisconsin with his wife Natalie. Natalie is a veterinarian who provides care to cattle and small animals. On his free time, Max enjoys golfing, running, hiking, and other outdoor activities. He has ran in many half-marathons across the Midwest.
